What is FortGrid?
FortGrid is Missan’s own managed backup product. Rather than reselling someone else’s tool and stepping back, we build and support FortGrid ourselves — protecting servers, endpoints, Microsoft 365 and critical data with backups that are monitored, verified and managed end to end by our team.
Do you back up Microsoft 365?
Yes. Microsoft 365 data — email, files and collaboration content — needs its own backup beyond Microsoft’s native retention, and FortGrid covers it alongside your servers, endpoints and line-of-business systems. It is one managed backup picture rather than several disconnected ones.
How is disaster recovery different from backup?
Backup is having a clean copy of your data. Disaster recovery is the tested process of getting your systems and operations back quickly when something goes wrong. We design both together — defining how fast you need to recover and how much data you can afford to lose, then building and rehearsing the plan to meet it.
How do you make sure backups actually work?
By treating a backup as unproven until it has been restored. We monitor and verify backups continuously and test recovery on a regular schedule, so the day you need to restore is not the day you discover the backup was failing silently.
Can you migrate us to the cloud without downtime?
We plan migrations to minimise disruption — sequencing the move, protecting data and permissions, and timing cutover around your operations. The exact approach depends on your systems, which is what we scope up front so you know what to expect rather than hoping for the best.
